Who are they?
Seemingly calm, reserved and of rather phlegmatic character, Dieuwer and Abdul can often appear distant or aloof. However the truth is that they are simple men who are actually quite shy and modest. They lack confidence in their abilities and seek to protect themselves first and foremost, however once they feel at ease they tend to relax and open up. Decidedly, we are in the presence of honest, reliable and conscientious individuals of fine moral character, and while they are patient, stable, disciplined, determined and perseverant; they are also anxious, uncertain and inclined to doubt and pessimism... They are introverts who dont mind solitude and prefer one or two genuine relationships to several superficial ones, only really interested in that which is real and profound. If you count yourself among their friends then it is because they esteem that you are worthy of their trust... Not particularly spontaneous or demonstrative, they are nonetheless sensitive souls who will always be available if you need them. Proud and conceited, they manage to get by just fine by themselves thank-you-very-much, and they generally lose a lot of time this way. Nevertheless, patience is one of their virtues and they win in the long term because their success - however long it takes - is all the more satisfying since it is achieved through their merit alone... Rational, practical and pragmatic, Dieuwer and Abdul have their feet firmly planted on the ground and rely on logic and reason in their judgement, and although they are occasionally given to flights of fantasy they come back down to earth quickly enough... Hardworking, organized, reliable and thrifty, they can reveal themselves to be real perfectionists. As children, they are often a little too well-behaved and sensible and are capable of disregarding their own needs and desires in an effort to please their parents. Their sense of duty is often well developed, so it is pointless and indeed counterproductive to use excessive discipline which will only reinforce the inhibitions of these already scrupulous small people... They like to play, but in a calm and collected fashion, enjoying games such as Lego, Meccano, chess or computer games and avoiding boisterous activities and sport. They appreciate solitude and can be extremely possessive with their personal belongings, which they dont like to share.
What do they like?
Nature-loving, Dieuwer and Abdul appreciate simplicity and all that is natural and genuine while they loathe deceit and insincerity. They seek security above all, and if that means accepting a certain amount of monotony and routine in their lives, well thats just the way it goes. They would quite like to live in the countryside far away from the hustle and bustle where they would enjoy a life of simple pleasures such as watching their garden grow... Their romantic lives are not always easy thanks to their overly reserved nature; spontaneity, imagination and demonstrations of affection not being their strong points, however they are reliable and fiercely loyal - and expect their partner to possess the same qualities, being men of morality and principles.
What do they do?
They are particularly likely to be attracted to the medical and paramedical fields, occupations in connection with law, justice and magistracy... However they equally seek security and arent indifferent to a career that assures such peace of mind, as a civil servant for example. They could equally find satisfaction through a career in relation to the earth, flowers, nature, animals or catering...
