Who are they?
Flann is a rather contradictory character because she is influenced by two antagonistic numbers - the 1 and the 2, which can respectively be translated as an independent and authoritarian tendency, and a more dependent, conciliatory and passive side... Such contradictions confer her with a cyclothymic personality and make her appear quite enigmatic. However, these energies could co-exist harmoniously, and in this case she could be described as an « iron fist in a velvet glove ». While she is generally attentive to others and a good listener, she can also be considerably egotistical, oscillating between self-centredness and selflessness. She is an extremely sensitive soul, although this isnt always evident. Instead, she tends to suppress her emotions to the point where she could be accused of being aloof, cold or indifferent - especially since she doesnt like to show any sign of weakness. But make no mistake; her confident, proud and dignified attitude is nothing more than a facade to disguise her deeply emotional nature... As a child, she alternates between the need for freedom and autonomy (accentuated if she was born on a 1st, 10th, 19th, 28th, or if she has a Life Path Number of 1) and an extreme dependence on her family and the family home (more pronounced if she was born on the 2nd, 11th, 20th or 29th day of the month; or if her Life Path Number is 2), to the extent where she could have difficulty cutting the umbilical cord if her emancipation is hindered. Her upbringing should ideally be flexible and her parents should shower her with love and affection in order to make sure that she feels emotionally secure. If her sense of responsibility is well nurtured she could reveal herself to be a competent second mother to her brothers and sisters. While she is eager to please, she also loves compliments and these must be handed out scrupulously and with sincerity.
What do they like?
Flann likes to shine, to be noticed and admired while she exudes charm and majesty. She is a perfectionist and certainly very ambitious; this is a woman who wants to win! She could therefore feel torn between her home and family - which is essential to her (she makes a perfect housewife and an excellent mother), and professional achievement on a large scale. In either case she is likely to feel a certain dissatisfaction: if she concentrates exclusively on her family she could resent being dependent on her partner and not being able to fully express her creativity; and in the second case, sacrificing time with her family will surely have implications on her happiness... Romantically, it wont be easy for Flanns sweetheart to unravel her many mysteries, especially since she prefers to let her man try and figure her out rather than helping him! Very intuitive herself, she understands her partner without the need for words. Last but by no means least; she will need to maintain a healthy balance between dependence and independence, in a relationship where each person retains supremacy in a specific domain.
What do they do?
Flann is drawn to the creative or esthetic domains, as well as anything concerning advice and listening. She could enjoy a career involving collaboration and cooperation (mediator, teacher, social worker...), occupations in connection with psychology or parapsychology represent another possibility; and lastly, she has the necessary skills for a role that requires attention, thoroughness and accuracy, such as accounting or secretarial work.
