Dead soul - In the night of 26 April 1986 the fourth reactor of the Chernobyl NPP destroyed as a result of powerful thermal explosion. Picked up by the wind, radioactive dust fell partly on the territory of the former USSR, has left pockets of radiation in Europe and even reached the shores of America. The consequences of the accident was so serious that the Soviet government was forced to undertake emergency evacuation of nearby settlements. Contaminated area within a radius of 30km from the station turned into a strictly protected Zone complete alienation. After the erection of reinforced concrete sarcophagus over the destroyed reactor on the Chernobyl NPP resumed. The exclusion zone has helped to create a huge complex of secret laboratories.
