Residual is a new survival platformer by OrangePixel. The game takes you to a forgotten galaxy where a lone explorer crashes on a strange planet filled with ancient alien mysteries. Your goal is to survive in a harsh, procedurally generated world full of dangers and unpredictable events. You’ll need to gather food, light fires, and craft sci-fi survival tools such as teleporters and mining devices. Face challenges like hunger, cosmic storms, and hostile plant life as you struggle to stay alive. Throughout your journey, you ll be accompanied by PDB, a flying bot that will assist you in your exploration and help reveal the planet s secrets. The game features a unique planet generation system where each location offers different conditions—ranging from hot planets close to the star to cold worlds in the dark corners of the galaxy. Residual offers a non-violent survival experience focusing on exploration and solving puzzles, uncovering ancient secrets, and collecting records of alien artifacts.
