Parasite Eve is a role-playing game with survival horror elements, based on the science fiction novel of the same name by Hideaki Sena. The game combines traditional mechanics of Japanese RPGs with a unique combat system: during battles, the protagonist Aya Brea can move freely across the battlefield without using action points. This innovation adds action elements to the gameplay and requires the player to analyze the movements and speed of enemies, allowing for the development of various tactics to defeat different monsters. After completing the game, players will be prompted to save their progress and start a new mode. This mode features an additional location—the Chrysler Building, which is a 77-story maze filled with powerful enemies, including enhanced monsters from the main game and new ones. On certain floors, players will face formidable bosses, making this mode a true challenge.
